2010 BIO International Convention Highlights Key Policy Issues For Biotechnology
The biotechnology community will be directly impacted by the key policy debates occurring around the world. Policy makers worldwide are debating critical issues related to health care, patents, intellectual property, sustainability, job creation and energy. The outcome of these debates will have a profound impact on our industry and our ability to continue to innovate” said Jim Greenwood, BIO’s President and CEO. “This year’s program showcases the impact of recent public policy decisions on our industry and the opportunities and challenges for biotechnology as we move forward.”
During the breakout sessions, government officials, researchers, academics and high-level company executives will share their insights on topics including the 111th Congress, next steps in health care reform, patent reform and sustainability.
