Joint Statement on the Death of Former New Jersey Congressman Bob Franks
“It is with a heavy heart that we mourn the passing Bob Franks, who was a friend and colleague of many years. Through his service to the United States House of Representatives, and more recently as the President of the HealthCare Institute of New Jersey (HINJ), he was a tireless advocate for the health care industry and the patients it serves. He will be remembered for his skillful and thoughtful approach to issues and the sense of humor he brought to his encounters.
“May his legacy and untimely passing serve as an inspiration to those who seek to advance the discovery and development of much needed therapies, treatments and cures. We join with many others in extending thoughts and prayers to Bob’s family.”
