MEDIA ADVISORY: Mayor Murphy, Biotech Leaders, Local Patients to Kick Off BIO 2001 Conference
WHAT: San Diego Mayor Dick Murphy will join biotechnology leaders to kick off the BIO 2001 International Biotechnology Convention & Exhibition, to be held Sunday, June 24, through Wednesday, June 27, at the San Diego Convention Center. Results of the first region-wide census of San Diego’‘s biotechnology community will also be presented.
Also attending the news conference to show their support for the work being done by San Diego’‘s biotechnology community will be three San Diegans who are living with serious illness.
