James C. Greenwood, President & CEO

James C. Greenwood is President and CEO of the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) in Washington, D.C. BIO represents 1,000 biotechnology companies, academic institutions, state biotechnology centers, and related organizations across the United States and in more than 30 countries worldwide. BIO members are involved in the research and development of innovative healthcare, agricultural, and industrial & environmental biotechnology products.

Tom DiLenge, President, Advocacy, Law & Public Policy Division

Tom DiLenge became President of BIO’s Advocacy, Law & Public Policy Division in April 2016. Immediately prior to that, he served as BIO's General Counsel and Head of Public Policy since December 2013.

Joanne M. Duncan, President, Membership and Business Operations Division

Joanne Duncan became President of BIO’s Membership and Business Operations Division in April 2016. In this role Joanne oversees the BIO’s membership activities, conferences and events, including the BIO International Convention, the BIO One-on-One Partnering system, BIO’s Business Solutions program, and BIO’s business development activities and administration.

Joseph Damond, Executive Vice President, International Affairs

Joseph Damond is Executive Vice President for International Affairs at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO), Mr. Damond is responsible for developing and implementing the industry association’s program of international advocacy and outreach, including the areas of trade policy and foreign government relations.

Daniel Durham is the Executive Vice President for Health Policy at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) where he leads the development of policy positions promoting biomedical innovation and ensuring patient access to biopharmaceuticals.

Cartier Esham serves as Executive Vice President for Emerging Companies at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO). In this role, Dr. Esham manages and directs BIO’s policy development, advocacy, research and educational initiatives for BIO’s emerging companies, which comprise approximately 90% of BIO’s membership.

Jeanne Haggerty joined BIO in September 2006 as Director for Federal Government Relations. Prior to joining BIO, Haggerty served as a Professional Staff Member for the House Committee on Energy and Commerce.

Peter McHugh became General Counsel and Senior Vice President of Legal for BIO in June 2016. Immediately prior to that he served as BIO's Vice President of Business Strategies, after serving as BIO’s Vice President for Business Operations.

John Sloan is Senior Vice President, Membership & Business Strategies, at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO). BIO is the world's largest trade association representing biotechnology companies, academic institutions and related organizations. BIO members are involved in the research and development of innovative healthcare, agricultural, industrial and environmental biotechnology products.

Yvette White-Wiggins, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Yvette White-Wiggins is BIO’s Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Yvette joined BIO in 2002 as Accounts Receivable Manager. Throughout her years with BIO, she has been promoted and assumed various responsibilities within the Organization.
